Pretty much the title. Trying to decide if the 675m is worth the extra $100. I'm fine playing games on High settings even under 50fps. Will the 675 extend the life of the notebook long enough to warrant the extra cost? i.e. able to play demanding games for a significantly longer amount of time than the 670m? Thanks.

PS: Most likely going with the 9150.

I would just spend the little extra money on the 675M. It has 15%-20% better performance than the 670M, so it will give you better fps on even demanding games, and it will last longer before you need to upgrade. Also, with games demanding much more graphics power coming out now and in the future, you would really benefit from the 675M.

675M is probably worth buying considering it's only $100 more, it's basically a 580M with a cheaper price, even now the 580M is still more expensive than the 675M.

If i had the choice between the 2, I would definitely go with the 675m as it has the exact same performance as last generation's high end card i.e the 580m.

well its more than a 100 more if your going from the 9130 gtx 670 to the 9150 gtx 675m, at that point just go with the 7970m for an extra 100 bucks, you wont regret it, and it will perform better in the upcoming years.
