    Hey everyone,

I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I've had my 9170 for almost a month now and just recently had my 7970m swapped for the 680m a few days ago at Sager. Since then, I've been noticing my GPU has been underclocking/throttling when I play games, specifically GW2 and BF3. According to MSI afterburner's OSD, it runs at 324mhz the entire time in Guild wars 2 with an average 27fps and around 528~MHz in BF3 with varying frames per second depending on map. Utilization remains around 99% the entire time but my frame rates suffer because of those low clock speeds (i think). 3dmark11 total score is around 6300 and my card doesn't go above 60 degrees ever. Everything is set to use the high performance nvidia gpu.

    Has anybody experienced this problem?

Never had this issue. I average around 55 fps in gw2 with everything capped using 304.79 drivers

I'm just using 304.79 straight from nvidia. It will say it doesn't support the 680m but it definitely does.

Make sure you get the appropriate x64 of x32 bit version. Nvidia had the x32 bit version for the x64 download link for awhile : /

any performance boost to GW2 with the new drivers? @fenryr423 are you getting full utilization at all times? Mine seems to be inconsistant. Some areas I get full but other areas will swing down to 60% lowering my fps. But when it IS maxed I get the same fps as you. Do you OC yours?

I OC mine 854/2400. The only time my utlization drops drastically is when Vsync kicks in. I havent been to many areas though. With any brand new game you are going to experience issues like that. As the game matures along with drivers these issues are resolved

Nice to hear that Nvidia still does the driver job right.

On battery mode if you try to game with the GTX680M it'll be locked to 324MHz for core.
