    Not sure if this has already been posted, but sager now has the 680m in stock and ready for production

    Cool. Lots of reviews coming from users so we will know how it REALLY performs. :)

    Since the Quadro models sucked I think I might just buy the 680M after all

    I'm considering but $300 is a lot of spare coin for a not so great increase in performance over 7970m. Although all the performance issues concern me.

    Well we do not know the real performance of 680M yet (in my opinion, I await another review to conclude), but we do know that 680M runs over 10 degree cooler than 7970M plus it draw 20W less power. And personally I prefer Nvidia due to FXAA and drivers. They just work.

    This thread among others has been closed. The next time someone posts flamebait or trolls in Sager/Clevo on the 7970m vs 680m topic, they will receive infraction regardless of who it is and who started it. Consider yourselves officially warned.
