Morning peep's many thanks for all the vbios's, I can confirm that my 6990m is a Clevo version that I have now installed in my MSI GT780DXR, just got to update display driver to get rid of the standard VGA display driver in windows.

Can I ask what the difference is between the Dell and Clevo 6990s? I tried a Dell with Clevo bios and it still would not work in my P150HM [Eurocom Racer]

I'll take a stab at your question. Much like desktop GPU manufactures, each tweaks the reference card design to their needs. This can include overclock, various memory models, etc.

Maybe someone who knows better can chime in but I think I'm not far off base.

Well mine is a Clevo green with samsung chips on it and it is an X7200 model, I am having real problems trying to overclock the bloody thing. Standard clocks give me a vantage score of

AMD Radeon HD 6990M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2820QM Processor,Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MS-1761 score: P14785 3DMarks

I am using the heatsink of a 5870 needed slight modification but fits perfect and perfect contact on all ram chips and loads of contact on the other parts aswell :D Temps are perfect as you can see.

Anyone else have problems with Clevo 6990m?? my old 570m hits over 16k vantage (overclocked that is) but I my 6990 my won't exceed 15K vantage score at all :(

I need advice and help please
