I have a 9380-S with a 4930mx processor. How can I get a 7.9 on the processor and ram in the windows experience index. Index for processor is currently 7.7 and ram is 7.8.

*it doesnt matter* = not an answer please.

1866 ram would be enough for 7.9

As for processor, think I've read somewhere you need to get over 5 GHz for 7.9, so unless you plan on running your laptop in a freezer with dual PSUs, it just might not be worth your time. (for reference the 4900MQ's TDP can crack 100W when running XTU bench at 4.2 GHz, so 5 GHz I think you're probably looking at 150W minimum)

Would adding the max 32gb of ram do it?

How much does the i7-4960x get (9570)?

Unrelated: does anyone have their spec sheets from their machine being overclocked already by xotic pc? I see new processors coming from intel with a base of 3.1GHz and a max of 4.0GHz. I want to mine to be like that.

Answer is: it does not matter. Though it seems you know this.

It's a broken benchmark that Microsoft has abandoned.

any six core cpu will get 7.9.
