Would it work? I would love to get the 770m, it is cheaper than the 680m and barely any more than the 670m. 680m is almost $700. I don't even understand, but I've found a 770m for $600
Thanks guys!

None of the 7XX or 8XX series will work unfortunately.
The 680M is only a sliver behind the 870M and soundly beats the 770M, even more so when overclocked where it takes over the 870M and sits just behind the 780M and 880M. -
Meaker, I thought that one of the guys over at Tech Inferno got a BIOS mod working for the older P150 models? Or am I mistaken.
-
Yes I believe Prema has modded a P150EM to work with the 780M, but the BIOS has not been public released to this date. Probably still a work in progress as this point.

Knock on wood, if my laptop fail, I will sell it as parts and move back to desktop. -

Yah notebook GPU prices dont fall very much.
-
If you're really desperate, you might as well invest in an eGPU. Less price and much more powerful.
-
I moved to desktop, just find laptop to heavy, and too limited with respect to upgrades and price.

I love my laptop. It's an awesome machine, as long as it keeps running. The weight finally got to me. I travel internationally 5 - 6 times a year. Have to bring the 17 inch sager, plus work laptop, plus a tablet. Eventually, it's too much of a hassle and weight, especially going thru airport.
The cost to upgrade, I can probably deal with it. The problem is even when you are willing to pay and the option is not there, that is what bothers me. Kind of got sucked into the marketing gimmick that clevo allows "upgrades".
770M in the P150EM? My 7970m Failed like many people on here...
