    Hey,

I've noticed on several games that use DX11 (Deus Ex, Max Payne 3, Crysis 2 etc) that I get annoying screen tearing regardless of VSync being on. If I play these games using DX9 instead it goes away.

Is it just me experiencing this? It sounds like a driver issue, but if more people get this has anyone figured out a fix for it?

Yep I noticed this too. Could hd4000 vsynch setting be affecting 7970m?

i think 12.9 driver fixed this issue for me, but yes previously depending on game / application / dx mode - I was unable to force VSynch on even if I did it on driver level for both 7970m and HD4000.

I'm still having this problem, even after various Windows re-installations and different drivers. I'm on 12.9 and it still happens - but again only on DX11 games. I'm hoping that the Enduro patch will somehow fix this, otherwise I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue or not.

Edit: What's also interesting is that this only happens in Full Screen Mode. In Windowed mode the tearing goes away but the performance of all games die. It's also interesting to note that I get this screen tearing even when my FPS (ie in FEAR 3) is around 45-50. I also tried limiting my FPS to 60 through MSI but no luck.

Yes, screen tearing is normal for the 7970m vid card with the current driver.
