    7970M for p370Em, compatible with p170EM too?

    In the listing they show for the 170em the 370em is listed too, so they suggest they are but tell them and they can insure it has the right vbios.

    I thought Alienware-cards werent compatible with any Clevos?

    They are clevo cards. They work in alienware too iirc.

    I had 2 cards from clevo, both radeons 7970m older and newer revision(difference in stock voltage 1.05v vs 1.0v) and none of them look like the one from ad. Power section looks quite different, capacitors are above then in dell radeon 7970m becouse of 2x bigger amount of capacitors which are twisted and stacked one on other so you can't see any white marks like numbers of letters on them. unfortunately I am not able to make a direct comparison of the two cards from Clevo and dell. This picture shows the places which i'm talking about.
    Sorry for my mistakes in writing. Its hard for me to write a explain in good form.

    What i had done already and what i can tell you is that clevo cards will work with dell vbios.
