    Hello,

I'm looking at purchasing a 7970m from dell to perform a self upgrade on my 9150. What other parts aside from the graphics card will I need to do this?

I believe you'll need the new heatsink from Sager.

You'll also need a different card.

Dell 7970m's are NOT compatible with Clevos. It'll just freak out and shut down.

Well that's good to know! Can you point me in the direction where I might be able to purchase a 7970m that would work in my 9150? I was also looking at Eurocom

Ask any of the resellers or builders. You may need to wait a while though.

I'd avoid them. Just about any Clevo reseller should be able to help you out IMO, when the cards are available to them, ofcourse. :)

As the above mentioned, we'll have them for sale just as soon as the supply settles down and we have some extra to sell =)

I contacted Xoticpc earlier about the 7970M and they said they don't sell individual parts....but when I first purchased the NP8150 in December 2011, my sales adviser told me they can provide GPU for later upgrades.

Well, it's upto Sager really... not it's resellers. No matter. You can always ask other Clevo resellers for assistance. :)

Yea I can't post it directly, but its right down there :)

We'll sell you basically any part on any of these laptops, as long as we can get them. GPU's, case parts, basically anything =)
