I started another thread as I think my problem is unique.
So I tried everything. Every possible driver. If I use the system pluged in when ever I install the drivers the system hangs. If I install them on battery everything works great just that the GPU is not being used in any app. Tried furmark but it still uses de iGPU. If I plug it in as soon as I start Furmark the system hangs. I tried with both windows 7 and 8 both UEFI and non UEFI and also tried running it without the battery in. Also I switched out the ssd with and hdd and the memory with something else that I had lying around.
Is there anything here that would sugest that my GPU is not faulty. To me from what I have done so far it looks as if the GPU is dead. I need some confirmation from you guys so I can ask Eurocom to send me a new GPU. I don't want to send the laptop in because I would be forced to pay custom fees again and that would really hurt since it's 24%.
Later edit:
Here is something else that I found suggesting it's the GPU.
I charged the battery. I then installed the drivers. Being on battery I can use the notebook. I opened up HWinfo to see what the video card was doing and to my surprise it would start up when using furmark but at reduces frequencies (450 GPU/ 300 Mem). After a few seconds (10 or 12 to be exact) the drivers fail and furmark hangs. So basically when the card is being used at lower freq it can work but onyl for short amount of time.

As a small suggestion, make sure the heatsink is well fastened and that the thermal tape properly covers all IC's.
I had this exact behavior the first time i installed my card, i'd thought i'd gotten a bad card. It turned out some IC's were overheating and the card would fail, but once i properly reseated the heatsink, the GPU worked.
Also, if it is defective and you have to send it through customs, you don't actually have to pay VAT on it again... there's a procedure for defective items, but you have to talk to a customs agent and see exactly what kind of forms you need to fill out.

Thx.
First thing I did was to clean up the GPU and apply new paste and to make sure everything is good with the other components that need cooling.

I just noticed that your GPU doesn't report memory or shader count, temps, etc.
What driver are you using and in what order did you install the drivers? Enduro is very finicky.
Have you tried uninstalling both Intel and AMD Drivers, running driversweeper in safe mode, then installing Intel chipset and vga drivers, then the amd drivers?
Or just installing leshcat's package? Catalyst 12.11 Enduro 6/11/2012 UnifL for AMD+Intel Graphics ← leshcatlabs.net -
Well GPU is definitely dead. New one coming from Clevo Germany.

Dead in less than a year. I feel like technology is getting faster and faster. But more prone to failure

In some respects that's true with a smaller manufacturing process but every chip in history has had a certain failure rate.

Nice resolution by the way. That makes 1080p look like 800x600.
Good luck with the replacement card! -
Well, I thought it wouldn't happen to me, but it did. Im quite certain that my 7970m has crashed on me as well.
I am unable to boot into windows, where it would crash on logo. Only way to fix this, is to fully uninstall the drivers of the 7970m in safe mode,
then rebooting. As this would stop the 7970m being used and detected as a display driver. Also a fresh install of windows did not help the problem at all. Where
the installation of any 7970m driver (12.8, 12.11 beta or the latest 13.11 whql ) would cause the system to crash mid installation. Thank fully, I am still able to boot into windows...
Other than that, does my card sound to be dead? or just not working properly haaaa ):
7970m suspected of being dead
