I put my laptop to sleep instead of shutting down. I left it unplugged and I remember seeing the green button blinking.

I left it awhile to exercise when I came back it was dead. I plugged it but still no lights and nothing when I press power. My sister said she heard a long beep followed by a pause repeating over and over.

I know there are some sleep issues with ssds and Windows. Is there something I can do to revive my laptop?

If you have an issue and solve it, putting the solution in the thread before closing it helps others if they do something similar.

i removed the battery and the ssd then reattached them. it could have just been a loose connection but afaik, a loose ssd or battery wont lead to a dead unit. anyways, im just glad everything is working now.

It was likely the battery bugging out a bit after being 100% drained.

could be. on that note, is there a way to recalibrate my battery which is at 75% wear level. afaik, there really is no way to reclibrate modern laptop batteries, but just in case...

Not really, if it's at 75% then that's likely the true value, you would need a replacement. The current models use the same battery at least.
