    It makes weird screeching and air blowing sounds when I skype with it. Is that how it normally is?

    It is, to an extent. Built in Microphones always pick up a ton of background noise. You can try turning down the sensitivity settings in the audio control panel to see if it alleviates some of the noise.

    My Suggestion is get a USB mic and disable the onboard mic. They are pretty cheap and work great.

    Thanks I think it's much better now. I've never had/used a built in mic before.

    I've already bought a headset. Just waiting for it to arrive!
