So just a little bit ago my laptop stopped working after going in to suspended mode while in Linux Mint (I closed the laptop).

That was it. Moments later I open the screen back up and it didn't start back up. I press the power button and it doesn't start up.
It wont start at all. I don't have any lights either. I thought usually when the laptop is plugged in you'll have a light even when it is powered down but I don't even have that.
Also the charger DOES work and the battery was full.

Any suggestions? Kind of worried this is a motherboard issue.

Try removing the AC Adapter and Battery. Push the power button 10 or so times to remove any residual charge. Plug back in AC Adapter to see if it starts.
