This should be in the main Sager/Clevo subforum.

Secondly, if you had done your research beforehand, or even taken a look at my FAQ, you would have realized that since there is not IGP, there's no Widi.

Thirdly, WiDi is no big deal. It's not really reliable or that impressive, really.

yea i have all requirements but the graphics, i had assumed that the processor had the build in graphics and this would work.... 2860qm intel 6300

i didnt research in the IGP side of it......

    is there a better alternative?

No. No high-end machines (read: Above a GT555M) can use integrated graphics.

I wouldn't sweat it, man. Just think about all of the other crazy wild stuff that NP8170 can do! WiDi, to me, is a nifty concept, but I'd still stick to the classic HDMI cable when I'm not showing off WiDi to friends.

You can always try out Windows Play-To if you're looking for streaming media to a UPnP/DLNA certified box. Or check out wireless HDMI.

The others are correct though, without the integrated Intel graphics being enabled, there's no way to use WiDi. I personally was underwhelmed with it though, the input lag was always an issue.
