I have a Sager 8170 and I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard (logitech wave) so I can use my laptop connected to my LCD TV as sort of a HTPC.
I cannot get it to resume from sleep/hibernation with the wireless mouse or keyboard. I can;t get it to resume from a wired mouse or the built-in keyboard either.
I have to press the power button.
The devices are set to power on from sleep, the USB hubs in device manager are set to NOT power off.
Any ideas?

Double check your Power Options in the Control Panel, make sure it is set properly for both battery and plugged in. You may also want to check the advanced settings as well. To do this from the Power Options, it should list the power plan you have (Balanced, High Performance, etc.) and click on the blue link that reads "Change plan settings", once you have done that, check those settings, then there is another blue link that should read "Change advanced power settings", click on that. Double check all of your settings there under Sleep.
Can you also list your system specs for us? Occasionally, some solid-state drives still don't play well with Sleep/hibernate so it may be better to just disable the feature.
I was going to ask if you have the drivers for your wireless keyboard/mouse installed, and it may be possible, that that could affect it. -
I actually don't know that there were specific drivers for it. I went to the logitech site and downloaded logitech setpoint and the uniying software, but that was all that was there that I could see.
8170 resume from sleep/hibernation?
