I am almost ready to pull the trigger on W860cu from rjtech without a processor. I was thinking of buying a 820qm from ebay because it is about $300 cheaper.
But heres the thing, I have never installed a processor before. Is it easy? or is there a manual for it? Or is it recommended to buy one that is preconfigured?
Any input would be appreciated

It is very easy on the Clevo's.
Get the service manual from the appropriate thread and you'll see it is a cinch. -
it's pretty easy, just get some good thermal paste (arctic silver 5 or mx-2) and make sure you know how to apply it properly. use the dot or line method and let the heatsink contact and pressure spread it out for you check out this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffK7L0Qj13Q&annotation_id=annotation_461720&feature=iv
this video is pretty good also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRRWbQUqW1Y&feature=related -
It is easy but the chances are that the processor you plan to buy is an ES / QS. I have heard people had a few issues with the mobile i7 ES.

It is most assuredly a ES/QS. I don't know what Intel did this time around, but uber cheap OEM 820QMs and 920XMs are nowhere to be found on eBay and haven't been for some time now.
