Did anyone use the 860tu to record audio ( 24 tracks) using firewire?

If you need hardware support for 24 tracks of audio then I suspect a D901C would suit you better with a quad core CPU - which firewire hardware are you looking to use btw?

    Hi Neil,

I have a fareface 800 with 2x focusrite octopre Le connected to it by adat.
But anyway, I bought the 860tu today, xp will be on the flashcard and sonar 6 aswell. So I'll use the hd (320 Gb, 7200rpm) for audio only.
