Hello,
Just yesterday my LAN connection keeps dropping. Other machines in the office do not suffer the same plight.
I'm doing concurrent "ping google.com -t" on two different machines that connect to the same switch, and when my machine starts timing out, the other keeps on pinging just fine.
The notification on my machine says that the ethernet is still connected, but that there is not internet. This is partially accurate, because I not only lose internet but also LAN connectivity.
I have replicated this behavior even with wifi disabled. If I disable the LAN adapter and then re-enable it, it goes live for a short time and then I lose connectivity.
All of my drivers are up to date that I can tell.
Any ideas?
UPDATE: I've tried ensuring that other ancillary settings are not causing the problem. I know several Windows 10 updates have been installed the past couple weeks, it looks like it set my machine to "Balanced" instead of High performance mode. I also went into my Adapter and turned off "Energy Efficient Internet" and "Green Internet", still having the same issues.

It appears I've solved this. Instead of deleting my post, I'll leave this here in case someone suffers the same plight.
I believe the latest Windows 10 update didn't jive with my RealTek GBE driver. Well, as chance would have it, RealTek released a driver a few days ago, you can get it here:

Hah, it seems like 75% of the time it takes me posting my problem and then I am able to magically solve it myself X^D

I had a similar problem with my ethernet port few months ago, and I got it solved by installing the latest Realtek drivers.
