I've had 8662 for about 1.5 months now, and decided to run 3dmark06. (should've done earlier =( )

Anyway, I get ~8990, which sounds lower than expected. Is this normal for using it for some time? Or is this abnormal? Also, I've had this computer on for 14 days straight, so would that be the problem?

    Hmm..

    SM2.0 Score: 4288
    HDR/SM3.0 Score: 3868
    CPU: 2123

I ran this on 1680x1050 resolution. Is that what causes difference?

    Err, yeah. ~9600 on 1280x1024.

    That sound right?

Yes. Most users who use 3DMARK06 use the 1280x1024 res. as the standard.
Yeah your 9600 score sounds about right :p

That is still a good score it seems, like others say it is just about right.

It's a fair score all things considered.
I have the exact same setup and averaged 9965 on a new rig with a fresh OS from a cold boot; so yeah, 9600 on a month-old running hot is a fairly decent score.

try starting from a cold boot, kill any background apps, then give it another whirl.
