This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    8662 and Magnavox HDTV HDMI problem

    Just wondering if anyone can help. I'm trying to hook up my laptop to a Magnavox TV and the screen is overlapping on the TV. I put the screen res to 1080 on the TV through the graphics card and updated all the drivers. It still cuts the edges off on the TV tho. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks

    Mabye you have to change the format the TV use?
