I've just finished setting up my new 870DM-G and I've noticed hibernate isn't working. The hibernation file is created but when the system reboots it reboots as if from a shut down. Is there some way to work out what exactly is causing this ? Looking around the internet it seems to be a driver issue , so that probably means identifying the driver, but is there anyway to do that ?

Looking at event viewer I'm getting: Windows failed to resume from hibernate with error status 0xC0000411 , I'm in UEFI mode and I'm also dual-booting OpenSUSE on this (using the standard shim and grub2-efi). Secure boot is enabled.

Looking through my system log it doesn't look like fastboot is working either. I've got critical errors when the system should be resuming from fastboot.

go to power options / advanced, then disable Hybrid Sleep for each power plan then try if it works

Just had a look and Hybrid sleep is already off on both battery and power for all my plans.

Just did a little more fiddling. It actually works as it should when I give the windows boot manager boot priority. So it's launching into the shim/grub2-efi that's actually causing the issue. Trying to find out what's causing this is going to drive me spare I suspect , debugging Linux on new Clevo's is a task for a better person than I.
