    8800 GTS speculations?!

    I've read in a few posts that people think the GTS will be released around summertime. Any thoughts on if maybe it will fit in a 15", more specifically a 2090???

    Why wonder this when the 8800GTX is already posed to be in the new alienware 15" M15X? But yes GTS should be able to fit into 15", not too sure about the 2090 though.

    there both 35 watts...so if they could put MXM3 or higher in a 15 incher then yeah it could work

    Well I know the 8800M GTX is in the Alienware m15x but I was also under the impresion that it has switched to a proprietary build instead of a ODM(probably clevo)....just wondering what everyone else thought...

    Isn't speculating how the 8800 GTX nightmare began? "I wonder if it will work in my (insert brand and model)"

    The 8800 GTS won't fit in the 2090. The system wasn't designed for the card. The only reason the 8800 is going to fit in the Alienware 15" is it's being made FOR the card.
