    Hello all,

I don't post much but then again the Laptop has been good :)

I have a M570RU with the forementioned GPU

now it's starting to show signs of weakness in Bad Company and Black Ops.
So like most thought maybe some newer drivers may help however for quite sometime i've been pestered by a very obvious, yet totally undetectable problem.

i'm using 186.81 drivers on Win 7 64bit. However if I upgrade whether 190.00 or 266.43 I get a pause in FPS every 3-4 seconds, which is noticble in play and on the Nvidia Preview. it freezes for about ½ a second, and it's bloody irritating, yet i've searched invain online for a solution, maybe i'm using the wrong keywords i dunno.

Anyways is anyone else having this issue or managed to avoid it as now the Laptop is getting on a bit i'm trying to strain a few extra FPS out of it. While I know I could drop the Res, i feel newer drivers would be enough, and maintain the native Res of the LCD Panel. Another Laptop has been discussed with the GF, but I don't think were ready for another 1500-2000£ laptop.

    many thanks.

    Luke.

    i'm downloading them now.
i've got solid reliability in 186.81 but after this i get this pausing effect, i'll try your drivers and see what happens,

    thanks.

    Luke.

I'm using 260.99 on an 8800M GTX with no issues whatsoever.

Well i can confirm 186.91 work perfectly, and seems a little faster (placebo?) however anything like 260.99 causes a brief pause, which is extremely aggrevating.

    260.99 installs fine without modding...

Just download the notebook version of it.
