So as some of you may know, one year ago I upgraded my M570RU to M570ETU (New mainboard, CPU & Ram)

However, I still am using the old 8800M GTX that came with my 570RU.

So I am wondering if the 8800M GTX does at all support HDMI output? When connecting my TV via HDMI, and pressing Fn+F7 on the laptop, there seem to be no reaction at all. It works fine with DVI, but the HDMI won't work. It also doesn't register anything at all in the nVidia control panel. I've also reinstalled many nVidia drivers, but noone of them register the HDMI output.

So the question is basically this; does the 8800M GTX support HDMI output? I have a feeling it doesn't seeing as the 8800M GTX isn't really supposed to be put in a m570ETU?

    Help me out here guys...

    Hm....

Well something's definitly up, as the DVI seems to transfer audio to the TV as well now.

DVI usually does not transfer audio, right?

No, DVI does not transfer audio. have you got another cable connected (2.5mm jack/spdif)?
