if that really is the back of the card.... its definitely not a standard 8800M GTX that I have seen.

I know its not because of one factor.....

the SLI connector is not there.

in the pic that I gave you, there shows a SLI connector... which is using in systems like the D901C for SLI bridging.

that module is not a typical 8800M GTX found in most Clevo notebooks.... its more of a variation that has no SLI support and has pre-mounts/braces

No no, It has SLi connector (gangsta had SLi).. see the first pic I posted of the real card we are talking about.. that is a 8700M GT taken as example!

yeah, you may have a project on your hands with this one...

you may be able to pull yours a part to see if you can get away with not having the screws in the two bottom holes. if that is the case...then it should work that way. the other screws should keep the heat sink firmly together.

This was the first thing I thought.. the problem is that M570RU copper case has in inner part 4 "cases" that have to pass trough these 4 holes...if there is such a metal plate, the card can't accomodate itself and it's impossible to close rear and front part of the copper case..

makes allot more sense now olie...think you may have to scrap that project or get it and resale it to someone who has a d901c....

guys guys guys. just contacted sager not too long ago regarding this stuff.

"all those video cards shipped from the manufacturer are
assembled with heat sink and thermal pad as modules for different models. We
have never disassembled those modules to try each video cards on different
models. We do not know if you can swap the video cards among different
    models."

basically they are not hot-swappable (without physical modification) from each system as they come pre-assembled from the manufacture for the specific laptop they are destined for.

I would say that as it physically is the same card the worse thing that can happ0en is it would need a BIOS update for the specific model it is to be installed in and it should work as the connector and chipset are the same throughout.
