more and more I don't see the benefit of getting a second card for myself... imo...

I mean all the games I play fluently @60+fps on high max res.

the only game I would get a benifit from is crysis.

    but I hate that game.....

so I just decided to stick with a single card....

I mean 120fps with 2 cards but in reality your eyes can't comprehend past 60.
hope you enjoy your 2nd card.

the stock cooling is fine for the x9000 as long as its not oc'ed.. so if i want to oc this thing then i really need to try to get the new sink.. we'll im gonna call them when i get home today

Actually the new heathink makes only little differece between OC & Non OC. it´s the MB itself. New MB with Rev. 5.X is better for X90, much stable and u can OC to over 3.4G per FSB-Software.

So Z, I`m expecting a 3dmark score update, since I also have the T7500 and what you`ll be getting is probably what I`ll be getting also...

My bet is something round 8600/8700marks at 1280x1024 with the T7500 stock...

Good luck with you new 8800M GTX ;)

Just use SetFSB and OC your CPU to 2.8Ghz... for free... :D

I´m just waiting for an 9800M GTX... Then will be 9800M GTX stock + [email protected] = 12K

    I hope :D

I can`t OC my CPU since it hits 68C on a constant basis. I just can`t figure out how yours got so far and still remained cool.
Might be the AS5 which seems to be only applied on the GPU in the Sager units.
I`ve undervolted the cpu actually and got an absolute max while running Orthos for 40 mins of 67C.
Usually max out at 59-60C now.

Just remove the CPU cooler, clean it and apply some AS5... wait 200H(cooking time) with some shutdowns on the midle for the paste cool down. There you go...

And I live in an Mediterain Country(Portugal), so were even in the Winter is hot...

    Thats what I´ve done. ;)

Wait 200H? As in almost 8 days, 8 hours? That's one slow roast, I don't think it even takes that long to cook elephant.

(Oh, wait, according to the wags on the internet, it takes about 2 months to stew an elephant.:D :D )

I see. But since right now I don`t need a faster CPU, but a faster GPU and HDD , I`ll have to settle without OCing.

And the problem is that if even the card is already out, we will need to wait for upgrade packages(card + cooler), and a new BIOS for SantaRosa(Chipset PM965) platform that supports it...

Congrats on your new 8800m gtx. I know what its like to upgrade from so-so to HOLY S**T. I was using an integrated card on my DESKTOP. It was some 3rd world gpu called Windows media accelerator or some crap. Then I jumped to an 8800m gtx and my jaw literally dropped.

P.S. Zfactor, I've seen George Carlin live. He is my HERO.

As Audigy pointed out, with his T7500+8800M GTX and XP-8600-8900 , and with the X9000 about 9200-9500.
    Also XP.
