So I'm looking to buy a new gaming laptop with a budget of around $1200-1300, and I was considering the NP9130 and 6350. I prefer the lighter weight of the 6350 and the Kepler card, but I've heard there are issues with the cooling and CPU throttling. Also, the NP9130 has the 670m and free upgrade to 16 GBs of memory, as well as what seems to be a more solid build quality, so which one is better for the price?

what do you need it for? i dont know about build quality, but the throttling seem like when its under a ridiculously heavy load which shouldnt be reached under normal conditions (e.g. games, some benchmark)

For gaming the NP9130 will be better because of the 670M. Even though its an older Fermi architecture its still faster then the 660M. With the current free upgrades you mentioned like RAM and HDD its the way to go. It is about 1lb heavier but it would hard to notice that difference.
