so i've not updated my video card drivers for a few months now.

thought it was about time to,

after uninstalling catalyst + intel drivers

i usually install the intel driver first before i install the amd driver off the oem cd, then i update to the newest [113-12_mobility_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql]

i downloaded from intel site their newest intel hd 4000 driver [Win64_15338] which is apparently not validated for my device.

so then i try the intel driver from the sticky thread above [Win64_153117]
and that is saying it's not a supported version.

    neither will install.

which intel hd 4000 driver works?
what are you guys using these days?

im using the default it came with and never update the intel driver. why bother if it already works as newer drivers arent really going to get much more out of it as when you need power it just switches to ati/nvidia.

The stock one are what most people use.

For future driver updates you dont need to uninstall them first, only need to do that if you're having driver issues.
