    So if i didn't get any sound upgrades, i can't use the THX thing they gave me right? or am i missing something. I can't seem to find a mixer in the realtek GUI to adjust bass, ect.

    any info would be nice.

    I've read somewhere you have to install some THX software over the stock realtek

    on my np9170, there is an icon on desktop, thx will be installed after u clicked it

    If you did not get an operating system on the machine, the drivers should have the THX drivers for installation. If you did have an OS installed, you should be good to go and should be able to see the THX already installed.

    When I install the THX Prostudio or whatever and try to run it, it says "There is no supported audio device available"

    Nm, found my problem, I didn't see an "Activate" button til i started searching lol.

    anyone know if there's a manual way to adjust the bass, ect?
