Since upgrading to Windows 8 I've been unable to play with my laptop's back-lit keyboard, the program that it had initially come with sort of disappeared is there a replacement for it?

so the shortcut keys no longer do anything.
have you loaded all the drivers in the correct order that were on the driver disc.
check out sager website for their drivers as they might have a new one for windows 8

If you run into the problem with the OSD not working properly after re-installing the software, try uninstalling the monitor driver from Device Manager, and then let Windows re-install the default driver.

Good luck! Hopefully you are enjoying your laptop (and Windows 8)!
