This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My keyboard is no good, for reasons I'd rather not divulge (hint: it was a carbonated beverage). I'm now using a Logitech USB keyboard while the replacement is being shipped from RJ Tech. My problem is that none of the hot keys work. I need to use the WIFI, but don't know what to do. I downloaded and installed the Hot Key utility, but don't know how to use it. I'd also like to use the fan speed button as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Unfortunately, those functions are hard wired into the internal keyboard, without it you're SOL
