I've got a Sager 9262 with the 2.0 MP webcam built in. I went to mess with it the other day and I got a message saying there is no D-Max hardware installed. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers/software for it, and I get the same message...

I was wondering if anyone might know what the problem is and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If fn+f10 doesn't work, you may have the same problem I had with my np579x. I ended up talking to tech support who told me to reinstall windows. I thought it was a hardware problem because I was dual booting and the camera wasn't working in either os. Long story short, I sent it back, they found the camera was bad and replaced it.

Talk to tech support if fn+f10 doesn't work.

I just got the chance to try Fn+F10 out, and it worked. Thanks tons guys :)

(makes me feel kinda stupid when it's just a Fn+ thing... but this is my first ever laptop, so I guess I shouldn't beat myself up to much :p)

Didn`t you get a cd with it? should be able to install the camera driver from that one.
Usually, all stock drivers are checked and should work regardless of OS,because you should have gotten drivers for Vista both 32 and 64...

Tried those drivers, but didnt work either. Problem is that i turn on the thingy with FN+F10, then it comes up with, drivers needed for usb 2... and then i try searching the cd, with no succes, and tried all drivers on clevo and sager, but also no success.

    Not like that.
GO into Cd drive, drivers, others and you have a folder called Camera
Or better yet open the cd drive and hit F3 for search, write Camera and poof your there. Click setup.exe and that should be it...

When I start VideoView I get an error stating "Can't Open Registry Key!!" I click ok, it goes away and I can see myself in the video, then it pops up again. When I hit ok the second time VideoView goes away. How can I fix this? Thanks.
