So It seems that Itunes does not work correctly with my XR5. When I open itunes, the interface is black, untill I scale it to a certain size, or maximize the screen. But even when the black goes away while not maximized, the interface does not react visually to any selections, or changes I make. For example, if I select and play a song, it will play, but the interface does not change, as in its static. Now, whats really strange is, if I move the interface down to the bottom half of my windows screen then it seems to work fine, counting down the track time, and reacting to changes I make. But if I move it back up to the top section of the screen, it goes back to its static glitched state. If I max out the interface, then it also works. I have seen the black interface issue talked about, but nothing about a frozen/static interface.

I have reinstalled it several times, and have even done a clean vista install, trying to fix a seperate issue, and the problem is still there. Anyone else running vista 64bit, using the 167.44 drivers for their 8800's having this issue?

It's a software problem and has nothing to do with your hardware.

That wouldn't be the software bug commonly known as "Vista" would it? :D

No, not really. I've had more issues with XP.

Well it was a common problem for vista users, before itunes officially supported vista, and people report that it is fixed. I would like to hear from someone who has vista and is having, or not having this problem. Thanks for the insight though.

I hate Apple software on Windows. It's just so inferior. If only they weren't forcing people to use it...
Anyway, try a different driver or report the problem to Apple or check if there is a newer version (software + driver). You may want to try and install SP1.
