When I start my laptop (Sager 9262), windows fails to load, this is the error message:-

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1.insert your windows installation disk and restart your computer.
2.Choose you language settings and the click next.
    3.click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have the , contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

    File:WDFLDR.SYS

    status:0xc0000221

info:windows failed to load because a required file is missing, or corrupt.

Ive tried to run the Vista install disk but now since Ive switch to the Vista 32 install it says I dont have the correct OS to run the disk.

Have you tried safe mode? WDFLDR.SYS may only be needed for some more advanced vista task, maybe you can do a repair from safe mode
long shot, but since you dont have the OS CD to repair from its worth checking if this WDFLDR.SYS is also needed to boot into safe mode.
to do this press f8 repeatedly after the BIOS has loaded.

you need to run a CHKDSK.

to do so with a Vista disc:
    - boot off the Vista disc and co to Recovery Mode/Console.
    - (when in the command prompt) type:
    CHKDSK C: /R

A repair would probably fix that. Definitely go into the repair console and follow the on-screen suggestions.

You may need to upgrade your BIOS, according to this MS TechNet thread that discusses an almost identical problem.

For what it's worth, the file WDFLDR.SYS is a crucial system file that, in part, loads the kernel-level drivers, and is a component in Microsoft's Windows-Driver-Foundation system, as described in this Microsoft whitepaper.
