I am trying to replace my wireless card wires that lead into the lcd case. I have removed all the screws and taken the screen off notebook, but I am having trouble removing the front LCD bezel, at the bottom. I thought I had found a service manual months ago, on either clevos site, or sagers, but I cant seem to find it now. Can somone that has done this lend me some advice please.

The catches are the same all round the LCD surround so as long as you have undone all the screws it will pop off in the same way as the top and sides did. You'll have to remove the LCD panel as well to gain access to the antenna themselves.

Out of curiosity why are you replacing the wires?

Well I did it, about 20 minutes after posting this. I had to replace them because whenI first recieved this unit, back in Jan. problems I was having with my wireless lead me to open up my notebook and find that one of the wires connecting to the card was barely connected to its own end connector, and was slightly frayed out. PC Microworks sent me 2 new cards, an intel, and a gigabyte, and a replacement wire, along with somewhat vague instructions. I had several threads about the whole issue months ago. Anyway, it seems the problem was fixed by the new card and wire that I just installed.

Thanks for the input. The plastic clips were just a little harder to disengage near the bottom, and I was afraid to force them.

Next, I will finally install my second 8800gtx. I know I know..... I've been slacking!
