So today I was talking to my brother on skype and he was having some trouble hearing me. I had my mic volume all the way up and he had his speaker volume all the way up. I really wasnt that far away, maybe 3 or 4 feet at most. I was talking fairly loud to make up for the distance and he still had a little trouble hearing me. Is there anyway I can boost the volume that gets sent from my mic other than what I have already done?

Did you try the +20 db boost found in the sound recording settings? Not exactly sure where it is at or to get to at the moment since I am at work on an XP machine but click around enough and I am sure you will find it.

If it is not on, it will make huge difference once it is. I hope this helps some.
