    GAAAH WAT THE F*K....

remember i made that thread where i replaced the video LCD cable cuz i was getting pixelated lines. It stopped for a while... but... its back now all of a sudden. im gonna STRANGLE someone!... i can't believe this. I know its probably just cuz the cable got crimped again in the corner. but wat the hell... seriously! for any1 new, the Issue is where the screen will have pixelated, changing colored lines horizontally across the screen. It looks like the screen is about to fail, but you tap the area above the cable and it stops. Its a crimped video cable that moves from the Motherboard to the back of the LCD. oh jeez.

if it fixes the problem... then Yes. :)

I would try to situate the cable in a different way to avoid it crimping again.

This happened to my friend's D900T as well.

You might also try to see if you can figure out exactly what's crimping the cable, and see if that can be ameliorated, e.g., if it's a piece of plastic casing that's sticking out further than it should, perhaps it could be filed back a bit.

thats a good suggestion, I would recommend to do the same to thing to prevent future issues with the new cable.

nah.. i kno wat it is... its the way the cable makes a 180 DEGREE bend from the mobo, through the left hinge and back into the LCD portion of the computer. Look at the pics in my other thread of this opened up. It goes left from the mobo, turns completely around in the hinge then goes right again. Now wen i get the cable its straight, i bent the thing SOO slowly and carefully but it was still tough to get it right. Its a very tight, sharp, squeeze. unless i just remove the left hinge lol
