I have not done any upgrades since I bought the system year ago. Are there any I need to install for XP Pro, and how do I go about doing so? Thanks.

There's no "need" to update the drivers if your computer is working fine.
If you haven't updated your notebook since you got it, then it more than likely is still using the initial drivers that came installed (which can be downloaded from Sager's website).

There's probably newer drivers for it. The most common one to update would be your GPU. So what video card do you have? Check out the nVidia or ATI website and download the latest drivers. It could improve performance (depending on what you do).
You could check out if there are newer drivers for other components (wireless card, sound card) but I wouldn't really bother with those unless you're noticing problems.
