i finally got my 9262 and i absolutely very much like(love) it!

i have had only minor issues getting used to vista 64 bit but no major problems "so far"......

without running any programs the system already hogs 28% of ram.. but thats with 5 sidebar gadgets running and minimal tweaks to the services and startup apps...

i couldn't install steam on Vista 64bit... i just coppied it from my xp32bit laptop to a harddrive n den directly to my new lapttop harddrive... and it worked perfectly so far... half life 2, civ 4, cs source

i got this real cool gadget that shows each cpu cores usage and system ram usage right on ur sidebar... addgadget.com its called All CPU METER v1.0

i ran 3dmark 06 i dont remember exact score but it was around 9500... this was with the stock 8800m gtx drivers.. havent tried the new ones that come on the disk yet...

the laptop is very heavy.. i think my arms will be huge going to work n back everyday... i also have a Belkin laptop cooler under it.. it doesnt really fit but it's actually very sturdy.. it will not budge!

the sound is actually real good for a laptop.. the bass response is better than on most laptops...and its very loud

*EDITED*(i had to press Fn + F10 to turn the camera power on, but i did this after installing the drive so im not sure which actually fixed my problem)
o there is one concern.. the camera is not working(its not even installed)..... im downloading the driver now from their(sager) website but its an incredibly slow download rate(7 kbps  ) i usually get 200 kbps from the microsoft download center

well i would give this laptop a 9/10 becuz da 1 missing is for the missing support for vista 64 bit.. but i guess thats microsofts fault!!!!!

Way to go, but I hope you know that 64 bit OS's are not compatible with all programs.

what is an EDID? the screen is perfect... i just started playing Crysis and i feel like im watching a movie... but i wouldnt be a good critic for screens ive been using 13 inch lcds all my life n now i have a 17 its a big jump for me...

but i did mention in another post that the screen rate is changable from 59 hz to 60.. i currently have it on 60 and no problems whatsoever no graininess either.... and all my pixels are working without the no dead pixel guarantee....

So far the hardest thing to get to run has been Planetside. Had to turn off a few of the options, run it in Compatability mode and as Administrator. The trick was having to use those settings for both the launcher and Planetside. Other than that Flash complained when I tested the 64bit version of IE but who cares about a 64 bit browser.

That's bull****. Only stupid programs don't work. Besides security software (firewalls, AVs) written for x86, 99% of the other programs work.

Dude, I'm mother****ing Dalai Lama when it comes to being calm :). I'm always calm, it's just bad words coming out of my relaxation :).

Try it. It works. If you have any troubles with it (even little problems) there is a thread in my signature. There's always someone to respond. If I can't respond, Flamenko surely will.
