    9262 wifi card connection issues and dvi port different pin config?

    i am noticing that the wireless card will not connect to either 3 of my wireless routers during a boot up or wake from sleep. i simply have to right click on the wireless icon and hit repair to cycle it and i am good to go but this is annoying. anyone have input on this?

    also, the dvi port on the back appears to be of different pin configuraion than both of my dvi cables so it simply won't fit. the pins differe as there is only one large horizontal slit on the port itself whereas the cables have the slit plus additional pins above and below. the dvi port is different that the dvi port of my older d900t laptop.

    Microsoft has a Hotfix for connection issues when resuming after standby or hibernation.

    The DVI port you have is a standard connector on this model.

    After more research into the situation it has come to my attention that you actually have a DVI-D which is only one of three types. See link:

    Also, make sure that your power saving options are turned off for your modem/wireless card, sometimes that can be the culprit.

    thanks for the link. it is indeed dvi-d dual link. too bad they do not send a dvi dongle like in the past with your purchase :(
