Is it worth going for the Blu-ray drive now or wait a while until the price comes down? It seems as if HD is going to fade out if Warner, Universal, and Paramount put out movies in Blu-Ray only or both.

I was notified after mine was shipped that Sager had begun offering the HD formatted opticals, and wasn't too happy. This was only because I had e-mailed Brian Law (of Sager) directly, and asked him if they had decided whether or not they were going to offer an HD optical option, but he said that at that time, they considered it to be too expensive to integrate. I explained to him that I had seen the other resellers of Clevo's new (9262) model with HD optical drives, overseas. Nevertheless, Brian said that if they decided to change the spec, we would let me know. He kept his word, it was just that it came around the day after mine shipped. Oh well. Iw will likely wait nor for about 6months before getting a super multi-drive for the optical bay. Bummer though, I would have liked to have had it when the machine arrived. At any rate, if you can get the drive for under $300 upgrade option, do it. If not, wait.
