    Good morning guyz,
Just wandering if it would be smart to order a 9262 from sager in US and pay around 350US$ for delivery in Europe?
And if something is wrong? Will I pay each time 350 USD for just sending it back for hardware replacement?
Any suggestion? I would really appriciate.
    ciao!

Yes you will pay shipping costs each time something is wrong with it (unless that is covered in your warranty, but I doubt that any American company has a cheap international both-ways-shipping-covered warranty).
And don't forget you'll have to pay VAT on the laptop (so that's +21% in Belgium).

What I would do (and what I did with my M570TU) is buy the computer from a European company. The prices will be higher (although it will probably be really close with the American base price + 350 shipping + VAT), but you'll get a much better warranty.
I recommend Kobalt Computers, that's where I got mine from, and they were OK :)

It is worth it to buy fro US if you manage to avoid paying the VAT, but you take a risk . Regarding the place where to buy from you should check the list of sellers and compare the various options, see which one is more suitable for you. mycizmo in particular are quite expensive in my opinion.

If something is not mention just ask directly (email or phone) like the international warranty if it Collect and Return, and when you decided your configuration and store drop a line again here people might have useful comments.

The cheapest in Europe for M570TU currently is from Germany and is Gurunotebook.de.

In Italy there is Santech, which is competitive for the 860TU but not for the 570TU. As for price, I mean.

I live in Milan, and definitely i'd go with Guru, if it's matter of price.
But I don't know if they provide only german keyboard, so please check with them by email.

    Thanks a lot guys.
I do not why I trust more Germans and English than Italians..ghghghg
But now the problem is that I cannot understand anything in german!!
And I cannot find any language option..
So I ll probably go for kobalt athough I see prices are higher than guru etc.
BTW I got one more month to go, but I am pretty sure I'll go for a 9262.
Please keep going like this guys this is a terrific source of informations!
    cheers

(craziest pricelist for resellers, pw.: **** ("a heavy metall with 4 letters"))

I never saw anything like it.

I advise you to check for your self the specific model you are looking for. For example notebookguru might have better prices for 570TU, but not for the D901C. Also when you make comparison take into account if you want 1 or 3 years warranty, in some compnies they have 3 years included in the prices and might have higher price than others that have included only 1 year. People hear are a little fanboy and will stick sometimes too much with one particular seller.

+1 on www.Kobaltcomputers.co.uk by me,i have ordered and waiting for my machines(see sign.)to arrive and they prove every time i come in contact with them that they are professionals and know what Good Customer service is...

I want to mention as well that if you are from Europe like my self you get benefit by the very good exchange rate of euro/english pound and from the 3 years of warranty covering the shipping expenses from youre country to england for repairs.

If u live in Europe, buying from a European resellers is definitely a plus for u. It might cost more that shipping your laptops from US but then again u have to VAT on good imported from US, which u dont have to do if u buy your laptop in Europe unless u live in a country that has not yet joined EU.
