The Sager NP9270 is just coming out (I think) this month. While browsing around for information from people who happen to already have it or have seen it in action, I came across something that was surprising.

According to one vendor, you can place more than 16GB RAM in the machine but Clevo doesn't support it. This apparently means that while you can stuff that much in it, the computer can't/won't allow you to use it. If this is true, this is a very underhanded selling ploy. I will be investigating this further but would really like input and maybe some test data that either proves of disproves this claim. I'd especially like to hear from sellers of the product. The input from a present owner who uses the machine is even more welcome if you please. And quite frankly I'm begging _PLEASE.

Sager does fully support and offer 32GB of RAM. Just make sure you get Windows Pro or Ultimate so its recognized as Home only goes up to 16GB.

I have to back Hutsady up here, it's not like any retailer would try to trick customers to buy more RAM than they could use. Especially considering it's something most people would notice immediately- it would just make for angry customers. As long as you have the 64 bit version of Windows and a version that's also higher than Home, you'll be good.
