Ok so I went to download the latest drivers for my new 8660 and the highest card listed in the gforce m/go catagory is the 8 series.

so I downloaded the regular one for the 9800 and it wont work.

Why doesn't nvidia's website have the 9800 GT/GTX/the future GS listed as a product series for mobile?

I know what you mean about the Sager dl rate.

I use the above mentioned site now, though.

Download the driver you want and the modded inf.
Create a new folder on your desktop and then the click the driver exe file and have it extract it to there. Now drop the modded inf in and overwrite the old one.

    Download driver sweeper http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1655

Reboot into safe mode and uninstall your current drivers and reboot.

Run Driver Sweeper and select Nvidia Display and click the arrow to add it to the remove list. Now click the broom and wait a few seconds. When it's done, reboot again.

Now install the new drivers by navigating to the setup.exe in the aforementioned folder on your desktop.

I've had a slight problem with the latest XP drivers from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com. They work fine except that the screen wont turn off after a set amount of idle time. Happens on both my 8660 and my Acer 5920. Other than that, flawless. :)
