It was discontinued a while ago, you'd be better off trying to get a 260M.

dont think the 260 will fit into helio's nexus as its the original version like mine. i might be wrong though. think ebay will be the place to look but try kobalt as well as they may have one hiding in a corner somewhere.

The GTX 260M is still MXM 2.1 III, as long as the BIOS is up to date there should be no problems. I installed my 280M into my 9800M GTS's heatsink, and it fit without issue.

Just be sure not to get the newer MXM 3.0B version.

Yes, RJTech still has the MXM 2.1 GTX 280M's instock. If you feel the GTX 280M is a little too toasty for your M860TU, you can always underclock to GTX 260M reference of 550/1375/800 and undervolt to 0.95v from 1v to shave off a sizable chunk of heat. I've tested it before on my old GTX 280M and it is rock stable. Because 16 shaders have been lasered out on the GTX 260M, those clocks will just be even more stable at that voltage.

Seconded, use this opportunity to upgrade. M860TU's have been proven to accept 260M's just as well as ETU's. There shouldn't be any heat problems as long as the cooling pads are there and the paste there, etc. In fact a 260M should run just as cool as the 9800M.

Just make sure your BIOS/Firmware is up-to-date first as suggested.
