Since I can't really search proper on this forum, I'd have to ask here, since the Sagers are the only notebooks with the 9800m GTX so far.
I've got a couple of questions, maybe someone can answer.
0) Did I read correctly that Justin or somebody over at XoticPC has one/or more of the new Sagers as "evaluation units" or whatever you call them?
r) If so, have you actually fired up a recent game on the card? How does the 9800m GTX stack up against the 8800m GTX?
m) What are the correct specs for the 9800m GTX, can notebookcheck.com's list be trusted? Also there's no in-depth specs over at nVidia's site either.
8) As far as projections/benchmarks go, is it safe to say (performance wise):
1) 9800m GTX
2) 9800m GT close to 8800m GTX
3) 9800m GTS close to 8800m GTS
?
Cheers if anyone can answer these, would make my day.
The reason I'm asking is because with E3 and all that hype, I've been closely watching gametrailers.com's coverage, and there are some AWESOME games coming this fall, and I just want to research into what I'm going to buy for them, because my Macbook Pro, as much as I love it, it's getting real old, real fast.

It's likely a bit above the 8800m GTX.

So Toshiba has the best laptop...Sager needs to step it up -

The 9800M GTX has not been released in any Sager model yet so there is no way to know how well it will perform. At this point Clevo is still developing and testing this card.
The 9800M GTX will be the top performer, and yes the 8800M GTX and 9800GT will perform with no statistically significant difference because they are actually the same card, but the re-badged 9800M GT is now quite a bit cheaper. The 9800M GTS will outperform the 8800M GTS, but neither of these cards have ever been shipped in a Sager notebook so our information is not based on anything but the specifications of the 2 cards.
Oh, and please be careful with your language...there are children and others that read these forums that deserve your consideration. -

As that article says: "the Qismio x305 will be powered by the yet to be announced NVIDIAGeForce 9800M GTX graphics card"
I wouldn't say the Toshiba is better...it hasn't been released yet. However I would expect the Sager to clean its clock once they both have the GTX. Toshiba is brand new at this while Sager has been giving the market the best and most powerful laptops for decades. Right now for example nothing can touch the Sager NP9262 -

10138 3dmark06 for 9800m gtx is low making me wonder, from notebookcheck its only 376 more points than the 9800m gt
is that really worth the $350 more for gtx upgrade? or with new driver update will it be faster? -

TBH, just don't look at 3DMark. POS benchmark.
