    hi,

right, i will get straight to the point. the gateway 7811fx use the same gpu as the clevo m860tu right? i am talking about the 9800mgts. if so, shouldn't the vga bios for the 9800m gts for the 7811fx also work for the clevo. i need to flash my clevo 9800m gts to use the 7811fx gpu bios. now most of you would be wondering why would i want to do that. the reason being, i am currently using the diyvidock with a 5770 and the performance improvement is quite good and i am extremely satisfied. the problem is 9800m gts bios for the clevo won't allow me to use the diyvidock with more than 2gb of ram. this is due to a resource allocation problem. the weird part is this problem is only for specifically the 9800m gts bios for the clevo. i did try flashing my 9800m gts with the 7811fx's vga bios and it worked fine and windows load and now the resource allocation problem is gone. the problem now is the 9800m gts using the 7811fx overheat extremely fast during windows boot process and then crashes.the temperature reached over 95 and this is just during start up. and then it crashes. sometimes it it loads to windows and starts to cool down but the idle temperature is 70????? why is this happening. i even tried downclocking it to the extreme and it still over heats like mad. i seriously need another 9800m gts bios to solve this resource allocation problem.
