As we all know the Sky X9 is lightning in a bottle once equipped with proper firmware and setup yet still it can be difficult to view the entire picture sometimes with mainly high benchmark numbers being posted in the owners thread due to our overjoy of a cool running desktop CPU and fine tuned GPU's. I mean lets face it, how often are we provided with a product of this magnitude along with the support of @Prema @Mr. Fox @unclewebb @Phoenix and other community members that have added to this mind blowing control of lightning. Still for many of us including myself look for a multipurpose machine that can serve the Overclocking enthusiast and gamer needs that live inside. I wanted to show how pleasant this beast can be with a normal yet heavy weekend of gaming and day to day tasks. The pic below is a shot of ThrottleStop, HWinfo64 & TaskMgr to prove the up time from Thurs-Mon morning while logging my entire weekend. During this time I did use sleep on multiple occasions as I have it set to kick in automatically yet it still wakes up without issues and is ready to take on any task.
Fan profile of Overclock or Automatic was only used.
I play all sorts of games but I tend to lean on more simulation, below is my list played this weekend in order. All played at 21x9 2560x1080 60fps @ Stock GPU and 4.2ghz CPU
1. Project Cars, SLI Ultra settings with use of Track IR (my favorite) FA & LMP1 mostly
2. Rise of the tomb raider, SLI Ultra settings
3. Just Cause 3, High single card
4. War Thunder, SLI Custom max ultra settings with use of Track IR

Temps are looking pretty good. I'm sure it handled all of those games pretty well with good frame rates too. Thanks for sharing some gaming numbers!

Gsync does help a lot with those games that tend to dip into the 40s at points certainly, it's likely having to spawn all the physics that does it.

Wow I'd kill to have those temps... Yesterday my processor hit 93C @ 4GHz playing Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition... I had to cut the TDP limit to 47W for that game.

I always found that system preferred the undervolt and 3.8/3.9ghz region when tweaking Ethrem.
-
The system does use CLU and ambient room temp is 72f to add.

@GTVEVO - I'm going to have to test 2560x1080. I've been using 2560x1440 on the 4K screen even on the desktop, but I have never even heard of 2560x1080 resolution before. Are you only setting that in-game or using a custom resolution set on the desktop before launching those games? Is there a benefit you find to using that, like an extra wide angle similar to spanning two displays?

If you ever have a chance to get a hold of a curved 21x9 I would highly recommend.

My next screen will be a ultra wide curved 1440p monitor with 120hz + refresh rate I think (I'm on the original swift for the moment).

I had the 34" LG Ultrawide curved 3440x1440 monitor and it was a great experience.
I've since switched to a 40" curved 4K display.
Maybe in the future if they come out with like a 43-45" ultrawide curved 4K display I'll switch.

Here's this for anyone curious about how the single 980 (200W) handles stuff like NVIDIA CrapWorks with ultra settings on Witcher 3.

Yeah you need to step up to a 980ti/Titan-X to run with it and even then it's questionable.
