I don't think i ordered the built in tuner, but i have a coax input on the side.
    Do i have cable capabilities?

Does vista support SLI fully yet?

and Where can i pick up or compare prices for the 7950 GTX MXM modules?

    1. You can buy any Mini-PCI tuner and use it. (Or go with a USB dongle one)
    2. Not offically, there are unoffical drivers if you search this site.
    3. Ice Tea sells them I believe, as do most of the resellers. Contact the reseller that you bought your notebook from. They are pretty steep though if I remember correctly. I.e Pro-star, RJtech, Sager, etc.....

    Hope that helps.

You need the TV Tuner to be able to receive the signal from your coaxial cable.

There are no "official" drivers for SLi with Vista yet.

The 7950 GTX type IV MXM modules for the NP9260 are only available from Sager or a Sager dealer, or other Clevo OEM. To find them please go to the Clevo Guide - and Reseller Info

ok so although i have the coax input on the side. and a coax will fit snugly on it... it's worthless?

Its worthless unless you have a Mini-PCI tuner card inside.

You need to have the TV tuner to enable the port, yes. The same goes for the S-Video In port on the back.

In my opinion if you're getting the NP9260 just buy it SLI from Sager or whoever you're buying from.

My full review of the NP9260 should be up on Friday morning so keep an eye out.

College kids (like me) who don't have the money/space/ability-to-transport a TV. I live out of state (and I don't have a car), so having a "TV" built into my laptop is a perfect solution.

I work late many nights at the office. I find that since the TV Tuner has an "Always on Top" setting I can restore it down to about a 3" square and watch TV while I work without having to watch a separate TV elsewhere in the room.
