Hello all. I've spent countless hours(maybe 5 actually) reading everything about the NP5790. But there are still a few questions that haven't been answered.

    1. Is the screen HD??? I know that HP tells you that its a high definition screen but xotic doesn't say anything except WSXGA,etc.
    2. Is WSXGA 720p and WUXGA 1080p? Or something like that? If WUXGA is considered 1080p then im willing to pay the extra $200 for it.
    3. I would like to connect my ps3 to my laptop for hd viewing (i dont own an HD tv). How would i do that because there is no HDMI :( . Would i get the DVI to HDMI but what would i do about audio?
    4. I read the review that Lawlz made and he said that the battery life was about 1 hour for gaming and 1.5 for internet surfing. Sager says though that it has 2+ hours of usage. Whats up with that??
EDIT: I plan to buy the GeForce 8700mGT
EDIT: One last question. What are the major differences between 32 bit and 64 bit vista premium??

Thanks for the help and i CANT wait till i get this beauty.

the 5790 screens come in wsxga and wuxga. That's 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 respectively which are both 16:10. 720p and 1080p are 16:9. That's how you can tell when a screen is a tv because tv lcds are 16:9 (besides having the tuner) while widescreen computer monitors are 16:10.

wsxga(1680x1050) will display 720 fully with black bars but not 1080p. Likewise with WXGA(1440x900).
WUXGA will display 720p and 1080p but you'll get a slight black bars at top and bottom due to viewing 16:9 on a 16:10 monitor. Hope that makes sense

32 bit and 64 bit... several differences are the the 32 bit vista can run 16 bit apps and 64 bit can't (that includes 16 bit installers). 64 bit vista is more "secure" than 32 bit. 64 bit processors can take advantage of 64 bit vista making the processes a bit faster than 32 bit. 64 bit vista can take advantage of 4 gigs of RAM while 32 bit vista can take advantage of 3.5 gigs. There is also something about drivers... i read it awhile ago so I can't remember everything there is about it, but I know that some drivers that work on 32 bit vista don't work on 64 bit vista. There is a whole slew of other info that I haven't covered yet, that may or may not be too important... try googling it. You're bound to find a ton of info about the differences between 32 bit vista and 64 bit vista, moreso than asking here... (most likely anyways) :)
